MIS ACCOUNTANT

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare insightful MIS reports and financial statements that empower leadership to make smarter decisions
• Maintain an accurate and audit-ready general ledger, and conduct timely bank reconciliations
• Manage end-to-end GST and income tax compliance — from filings to responses to notices
• Analyze financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities — and translate them into clear, actionable reports
• Ensure strict adherence to accounting standards (Ind-AS/GAAP), regulatory requirements, and internal policies
• Support internal and external audits with seamless coordination and documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across operations, sales, and procurement to ensure financial accuracy and timeliness
• Champion data integrity by maintaining well-organized, secure, and up-to-date financial records
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2–6 years of hands-on experience in accounting, MIS reporting, and tax compliance
• Strong grasp of accounting principles, GST, and income tax regulations
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, dashboards) and accounting tools like Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP
• Keen eye for detail, analytical rigor, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
• Clear communication skills — written and verbal — to explain complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
• A growth mindset: curious, adaptable, and eager to contribute beyond the core responsibilities
