Middleware (WAS, Tomcat, JBoss)

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Middleware Engineer to manage and support enterprise middleware platforms including IBM WebSphere WAS Apache Tomcat and JBoss
• The role focuses on ensuring application availability performance optimization deployment support and troubleshooting across middleware environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 support for middleware platforms including WebSphere WAS Tomcat and JBoss
• Install configure and administer middleware environments across Dev QA and Production
• Manage and support application deployments WAR EAR files across application servers
• Monitor system health server performance and availability to meet SLA requirements
• Troubleshoot issues related to application deployment server crashes memory leaks and performance bottlenecks
• Perform log analysis JVM tuning heap threads GC and debugging
• Support clustering load balancing and high availability configurations
• Handle incident management root cause analysis and problem resolution
• Perform patching upgrades migrations and environment maintenance activities
• Work closely with application database OS and infrastructure teams for issue resolution
• Support release management activities and ensure smooth production deployments
