Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Middleware Architect to administer, manage, and support complex middleware environments. The role requires hands-on expertise in multiple middleware platforms, messaging systems, and API integration tools, with a focus on L3 support, incident management, and root cause analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Middleware Administration & Operations:

  • Administer, configure, and maintain middleware platforms including WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss/WildFly, and Tomcat.
  • Manage messaging systems such as IBM MQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ, and RabbitMQ.
  • Support API gateways and integration platforms including MuleSoft, Apache Camel, and similar tools.
  • Manage middleware environments across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations of middleware systems.
  • Act as Level 3 escalation for critical production issues.
  • Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes.
  • Collaborate with application, database, OS, network, and security teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.

L3 Support & Incident Management:

  • Provide Level 3 production support and troubleshoot complex incidents.
  • Ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement of middleware operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in middleware platforms (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss/WildFly, Tomcat).
  • Hands-on experience with messaging systems (IBM MQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ).
  • Knowledge of API gateways and integration platforms (MuleSoft, Apache Camel, etc.).
  • Experience in L3 support, incident management, and RCA.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
