Middleware Administrator

The Middleware Administrator is responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining enterprise middleware software, monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability and security. The role involves collaborating with development, infrastructure, and security teams to support application deployments and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain middleware platforms like WebSphere, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat, and IBM HTTP Server.
• Monitor middleware performance and troubleshoot across application and infrastructure layers.
• Perform upgrades, patches, and system tuning to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Document middleware configurations, architectures, and operational procedures.
• Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) strategies.
• Automate routine tasks using scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or PowerShell.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and protocols.
