Job Role

To teach Social Science to middle school students (Classes V–VIII), fostering conceptual understanding of History, Geography, Civics and related subjects through engaging, student-centric teaching practices aligned with the CBSE curriculum.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Science or a relevant subject.
• B.Ed. with relevant subject specialisation required as per school and applicable CBSE norms.
• Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and assessment framework.

Experience

• 2–5 years of teaching experience in middle school, preferably in a CBSE-affiliated school.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum and learning outcomes.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments and assessments.
• Use interactive teaching strategies, activities and real-world examples to enhance learning.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and maintain academic records.
• Maintain classroom discipline and support students academic and personal development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to improve learning outcomes.
