Are you passionate about building strong math foundations for middle schoolers We're expanding our team and seeking dynamic tutors specializing in IGCSE Cambridge Checkpoint and GCSE Mathematics (Stages 7-9 / Grades 7-10) to join us remotely with flexible hours.
Position Highlights:
- Evening Shifts: 6 PM - 10 PM IST
- Competitive Pay: 500 - 600 per session
- Weekly Commitment: Minimum 24 hours over 6 days
Your Responsibilities:
- Create engaging lesson plans aligned with IGCSE Checkpoint Maths and GCSE curricula, covering algebra, geometry, ratios, statistics, and problem-solving
- Deliver interactive sessions using real-world applications, digital tools, and collaborative problem-solving
- Incorporate manipulatives, graphing software (e.g., Desmos, GeoGebra), and group challenges to deepen understanding
- Assign targeted exercises, track progress via assessments, and provide constructive feedback
- Conduct demo sessions showcasing student-centered, inquiry-based methods
- Communicate regularly with parents on achievements, challenges, and personalized growth plans
Who We're Looking For:
- Strong command of middle school math concepts (IGCSE Checkpoint/GCSE levels)
- Experience teaching Grades 7-10, preferably international curricula
- Skill in breaking down complex topics through real-life examples, tech tools, and interactive challenges
- Clear communication, patience, and strong classroom management for preteens/teens
- Passion for igniting confidence, critical thinking, and a love for math
