Middle School & IGCSE French Teacher

Hill Spring International School is looking for a passionate and experienced Middle School & IGCSE French Teacher to join our academic team immediately.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging French lessons for Middle School and IGCSE students.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments, and learning activities aligned with the curriculum.
• Foster students listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in French.
• Prepare students effectively for IGCSE examinations and ensure strong academic progress.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress regularly.
• Provide constructive feedback and appropriate academic support to students.
• Encourage students to develop an appreciation for the French language and Francophone cultures.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary activities, and school initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress when required.
• Participate actively in school events, meetings, professional development, and co-curricular activities.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, classroom management, and safeguarding.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant degree and teaching qualification in French or a related field.
• Experience teaching Middle School and/or IGCSE French preferred.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for language teaching and student development.
