Role Summery: The Middle School English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons, developing students language and communication skills, assessing academic progress, and fostering a positive learning environment that supports students overall development.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and board requirements for middle school students.
• Develop students reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies, learning resources, and classroom activities to address diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and understanding.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, academic performance, assessments, and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve their language proficiency and overall academic performance.
• Create an inclusive, positive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages participation, creativity, and effective communication.
• Encourage students to develop a love for reading, creative writing, literature, and the effective use of language.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students academic progress, behavior, and overall development.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school-wide academic initiatives.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance classroom learning and student engagement.
• Participate in professional development programs to strengthen subject knowledge and teaching practices.
• Support school events, literary activities, co-curricular programs, and other responsibilities as assigned by the school.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in the relevant subject with Bachelor of Education.
• 2–5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level (Grades 6–8).
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching adolescents.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning, student growth, and school community.
