Job Description

The Senior Associate - Middle Office Performance supports the team in performance calculation, PnL analysis, MIP reconciliation, attribution support, and firstlevel query handling. The role focuses on accurate execution, investigation, and documentation, operating under defined procedures and guidance from Officers and VPs.

This is a handson analytical role requiring attention to detail, discipline, and a strong learning mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Performance & PnL Processing

  • Perform daily performance checks and reconciliations under established procedures.
  • Support PnL and MIP reconciliation, identifying and documenting breaks.
  • Assist in preparation of attribution outputs and supporting analysis.

Query Handling & Investigation Support

  • Handle firstlevel performance and PnL queries, providing supporting data and analysis.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues with clear documentation and evidence.
  • Maintain accurate investigation logs and query documentation.

Controls & Data Quality

  • Execute assigned control checks and sanity validations.
  • Identify data inconsistencies and coordinate with upstream teams for correction.
  • Ensure tasks are completed within defined SLAs and quality standards.

Learning & Development

  • Build strong understanding of performance methodologies, products, and systems.
  • Participate in training and crossskilling initiatives.
  • Gradually take on increased complexity under supervision.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in Performance, Accounting, Reconciliation, or Investment Operations.
  • Basic understanding of performance concepts and financial instruments.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in a highcontrol, deadlinedriven environment.

  • Reduction in rework and followups
  • Readiness to progress to Officer role
