Vice President - Change Management

The Vice President, Alpha Middle Office (MO) Strategic Client PMO, is responsible for the governance and delivery of complex, highimpact initiatives supporting State Street Alpha Middle Office clients. This role operates at the intersection of Middle Office operations, Technology, Data, and Client Service, ensuring disciplined execution, transparency, and risk management across the Alpha MO client portfolio. The VP partners closely with Alpha Product, MO Operations, Technology, and Strategic Client coverage to deliver outcomes aligned to client commitments, regulatory expectations, and State Street's Alpha strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Alpha MO Program & Portfolio Leadership

  • Lead the endtoend delivery of Alpha Middle Office initiatives, from intake and prioritization through execution, stabilization, and transition to BAU
  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent Alpha MO initiatives including onboarding, operating model changes, platform enhancements, remediation, and clientdriven change
  • Coordinate delivery across MO Operations, Alpha Technology, Data, and Client Service teams to ensure endtoend accountability
  • Ensure delivery plans align with Alpha product strategy, client commitments, and internal capacity

Governance, Intake & Controls

  • Own Alpha MO initiative intake through established governance forums (e.g., quads, delivery reviews, client governance)
  • Ensure initiatives are clearly defined, approved, sequenced, and funded in line with Alpha and Investment Servicing PMO standards
  • Enforce consistent use of PMO governance, controls, documentation, and delivery disciplines
  • Support risk, issue, and change management in alignment with State Street's control environment

Client & Executive Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a senior PMO partner to Alpha Strategic Client coverage, MO leadership, and executive stakeholders
  • Represent Alpha MO delivery status, risks, and dependencies in internal and client executive forums
  • Provide concise, factbased executive updates with clear options, tradeoffs, and recommendations
  • Support a nosurprises client experience through proactive escalation and transparent communication

Reporting, Metrics & Transparency

  • Produce and oversee weekly and monthly reporting for Alpha MO initiatives, including milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery health
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and auditability across the Alpha MO portfolio
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve forecasting, delivery predictability, and management insight

Risk, Issue & Dependency Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage crossfunctional Alpha MO risks and interdependencies
  • Drive mitigation strategies and ensure timely resolution of issues impacting client outcomes
  • Escalate material risks in accordance with Alpha, Investment Servicing, and enterprise risk standards

Leadership & Influence

  • Influence senior stakeholders across Alpha Technology, MO Operations, Data, and Client Service without direct authority
  • Provide mentorship and oversight to PMO resources aligned to the Alpha MO portfolio
  • Promote a culture of accountability, execution discipline, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in Program or Portfolio Management within Investment Servicing, Middle Office, Asset Management, or Custody
  • Strong understanding of Middle Office operating models, trade lifecycle, data flows, and client delivery within Alpha
  • Proven experience leading complex, crossfunctional initiatives with senior executive and client visibility
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a highly regulated, clientfacing environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including executivelevel presentations
