Job Description Summary
State Street's Middle Office function is establishing a small specialist team to design, deliver and support business-driven automation and data enablement solutions across reconciliations, exception management, document processing, and cross-system workflows. This Assistant Vice President is accountable for intake analysis, solution shaping, and high-quality documentation-turning Operations discovery and SME input into clear epics/stories, requirements, sizing, and training materials so automations can be delivered and supported reliably in production.

Who we are looking for
A structured, delivery-minded techno-functional leader who can translate operational problems into well-defined automation work packages. You are strong in process analysis, requirements, and documentation, and you bring a practical understanding of controls and auditability in a regulated operations environment. You partner closely with Operations SMEs, the Service Owner, and engineering roles to ensure solutions are unambiguous, testable, and ready to embed into BAU.

To scale automation safely and consistently, we need clear front-end ownership of problem definition, requirements, sizing, and documentation-so delivery is efficient, outcomes are measurable, and production support is stable with audit-ready evidence and runbooks.
