We're not building another idea in search of a business model our modern POS (Point of Sale) system talks directly to the Lithuanian Tax Authority. Real-time data. Real responsibility. Real impact. Your Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend functionality for our next-gen POS product using Laravel (yes, we know it's not the freshest kid on the block, but we make it work wonders).
- Develop APIs for sales processing, inventory management, and reporting practical features for real businesses with real needs.
- Ensure your code moves to production fast. If something's off we fix it. If it's solid it stays and scales.
- Contribute to architectural decisions this is not a follow-orders-and-code role.
- Collaborate with the team through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Leverage AI tools like Gemini, Grok, Sonnet, Opus and their agents (like Cline, Roo, Cursor, Junie) to boost your speed and output.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience with Laravel (4+ is even better).
- You live by SOLID principles and not just because they sound impressive in interviews.
- Comfortable writing SQL that stands up to EXPLAIN scrutiny.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs.
- Good communication and collaboration skills we work like humans, not silos.
- Familiarity with Git and Agile environments.
- Proven experience using AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline and enhance daily tasks.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience in the FinTech space golden.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Redis.
- Comfortable working with Vue.js or React as long as you speak JavaScript fluently, we'll get along.
- A passion for using AI as a tool, not a buzzword.
