We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled MID LEVEL Functional Consultant with expertise in SAP FICO to join our dynamic team. If you have 8-12+ years of experience in SAP FICO, with a strong understanding of accounting and finance processes, this could be the right opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle SAP FICO configuration in various projects, including end-to-end implementations and rollout projects.
- Ensure the effective integration of FICO with MM, SD, and PP modules.
- Provide expertise in Indian GST & taxation processes and related SAP configurations.
- Manage General Ledger (FI), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CO), Profit Center Accounting, and more.
- Prepare functional specifications for ABAP development and manage LSMW, ABAP queries, and reporting tools like Report Painter.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for European countries (IT, FR, DE, etc.) and ensure compliance.
- Conduct training sessions for end users and share best practices for using SAP FICO.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 8 - 12+ years of experience in SAP FICO with a strong understanding of accounting and finance.
- Must have 2-3 years of domain experience in accounting.
- 2-3 End-to-End Implementation projects (at least one in S4 HANA).
- Strong experience in Indian GST and taxation processes.
- In-depth hands-on experience with General Ledger (FI), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CO), and other FICO modules.
- Good understanding of integration with MM, SD, and PP modules.
- Experience with IDOC, interfaces, and user exits.
- Familiarity with credit management, product costing, and material ledger.
- Proficiency in LSMW, ABAP queries, and Report Painter.
- Support environment experience with global business units.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Fluency in English (additional knowledge of German, Italian, or French is a plus).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Product Costing and Asset Accounting Configuration.
- Good knowledge of procure to pay, order to cash, and production planning scenarios.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and understand integration requirements.
Additional Information:
- Working Days: 5 days a week (flexible with exceptional cases).
- Shifts: Yes applicable (between 08:00 AM 08:45 PM IST).
- Travel: Domestic/International based on project needs.
