Title: Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Remote (Offshore – India)

Employment Type: Contract

Rate: $25–$30/hour (Offshore)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Level DevSecOps Engineer to join Hanger's Platform Engineering team, working under the direction of Emma. This is a hands-on execution-focused role responsible for maintaining and supporting cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes operations, and security compliance initiatives. This is not a lead or architect position.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.

Support and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.

Maintain and enhance Terraform, Helm, and Azure Landing Zone configurations.

Implement and monitor security and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines.

Manage Azure infrastructure components and operational tasks.

Monitor system performance using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

Execute backlog items and platform engineering tasks assigned by the team lead.

Follow IAM and least-privilege security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

3–6 years of DevSecOps, Cloud Engineering, or related experience.

Strong experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.

Hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Proficiency in Terraform and Helm.

Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and least-privilege principles.

Experience implementing security scanning and compliance controls within CI/CD pipelines.

Experience with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

Exposure to HIPAA-regulated environments.

• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
