Mid-Level BI Analyst – Tableau Developer + BI Support Analyst

We are expanding our global Business Intelligence team and looking for a true Tableau specialist who is equally passionate about building stunning new dashboards from scratch AND diving deep to fix broken ones.

This is a pure hands-on developer + troubleshooting role in a stable, long-term team - zero Tableau Cloud site administration or infrastructure ownership.

• 5+ years full-time experience as a BI Analyst / BI Developer
• 3+ years Tableau Desktop mastery - complex calculations, LODs, parameters, sets, dynamic zone visibility, dashboard actions, performance optimization
• 3+ years publishing, maintaining, and troubleshooting dashboards on Tableau Cloud (or Tableau Server/Online)
• Very strong Microsoft SQL Server - you write clean, efficient, high-performance queries every day (CTEs, window functions, query plan analysis, indexing awareness)
• Proven track record gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders and delivering production-ready dashboards fast
• Real troubleshooting expertise - you enjoy tickets like dashboard is slow, numbers don't match, extract failed, data not refreshing and systematically doing root cause analysis (data source, extract, query, filter, calculation, or connectivity issues)
• Hands-on experience connecting Tableau to SAP Datasphere / SAP HANA, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms

Additional Areas of Experience:

• SAP Datasphere or SAP HANA modeling / calculation views experience
• Hyperion Interactive Reporting
• Quest Data Point/Toad

What you'll actually do every day:

• Partner directly with global business stakeholders to understand requirements and build new enterprise dashboards from the ground up
• Rapidly prototype solutions in Tableau Desktop and publish to Tableau Cloud for quick feedback loops
• Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues - performance tuning, data discrepancies, broken extracts, calculation errors, connectivity problems
• Enhance and refactor existing dashboards for speed, usability, and scalability
• Perform deep root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent fixes
• Respond to user tickets with clear, professional communication and fast resolution
• Occasional rotational on-call for urgent production issues (generously compensated)
