MicroStrategy Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Create end-to-end MicroStrategy analytics dashboards and reports, ensuring they meet the business requirements.
• Report Support: Provide ongoing support for existing MicroStrategy reports and applications, ensuring they function optimally.
• System Improvement Recommendations: Assess and recommend improvements for MicroStrategy applications and systems.
• Project Design Development: Develop dynamic dashboards, reports, and project designs, including the creation of facts, attributes, hierarchies, and aggregations. Integrate these solutions into the portal.
• Project Management: Participate in project planning, estimation, and defining approaches to deliver solutions efficiently.
• Schema Object Development: Have an in-depth understanding of MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation, and maintenance, as well as developing application objects.
• Business Interaction: Work closely with business users to understand their reporting and analytical requirements. Communicate effectively to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Skills and Experience:

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience with MicroStrategy development.
• Strong ability to work independently and take ownership of project tasks.
• Must have basic knowledge of Data Modelling.
• Must have advance SQL knowledge.
• Proven experience in designing and developing MicroStrategy dynamic dashboards, report development, and project design.
• In-depth knowledge of MicroStrategys schema design, object development, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with project planning, estimating, and approach definition for MicroStrategy development.
• Strong understanding of the business users needs and the ability to translate those needs into actionable reporting solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with business users and technical teams.
