Role Responsibilities:
. Supports existing software application to cover incident management, request management, problem management and release management
. Follow ITIL processes for incidents, changes and requests.
. Response to the incidents & requests within the SLA period
. Code, tests and documents Sitefinity based systems of moderate to high complexity as per the requirements specifications
. Involved with resolution of low complexity software development issues that may arise in a production environment
. Works under general direction, seeks assistance as needed. Independently gathers information
. Perform in-depth problem solving, troubleshooting, and conduct root cause analysis of problems and issues impacting the applications and/or their environment.
. Manage and utilize monitoring tools and alerts to prevent production down time.
. Collaborate with development team, infrastructure teams, third parties and other technical teams as necessary in the configuration and support of the applications and their environment, as well as to identify and resolve complex problems and issues.
. Provide performance improvement and capacity planning recommendations.
. Participates in on-call support rotation.
. Contributes to own team/closely related teams through quality and accuracy of own output. Builds productive internal relationships. Conveys information in a concise and professional manner. Asks effective questions and solicits feedback to understand needs
Requirements:
. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related degree, or equivalent experience
. 2+ years advanced experience on web application development or support using Microsoft technology stacks ASP.Net, C#, MVC and T-SQL
. Must be good at web scripting languages like HTML, jQuery, Javascript and XML
. Good understanding IIS webserver configuration and web site setup
. Hands on experience on troubleshooting tools like SOPA UI, Fiddler, browser console etc
. Advanced in-depth troubleshooting, problem solving and root cause analysis skills and experience, and ability to think out of the box when presented with complex problems
. Ability to manage multiple, shifting priorities
. Ability to investigate, learn and become SME for various miscellaneous applications
. Experience with Sitefinity Web Development or Support is a BIG plus.
