We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Microsoft Fabric Developer with mid-level experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building and managing data pipelines, modelling data, and creating visual analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric and related services. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and insightful data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data solutions using Microsoft Fabric (Power BI, Data Factory, OneLake, Synapse, etc.).
- Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and modelling workflows using Dataflows and Data Pipelines.
- Build Power BI reports and dashboards for business intelligence and decision support.
- Optimise data queries and processing for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, and business analysts.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within the Fabric environment.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and report rendering.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 36 years of experience in data engineering and BI development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and its components (Power BI, OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Notebooks, etc.).
- Proficient in DAX, Power Query (M Language), and T-SQL.
- Experience working with large datasets, data modelling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices in Microsoft data environments.
- Familiarity with data governance and role-based access control.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
- Microsoft Certification in Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Databricks.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control systems.
