Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer – Core Skill Set

Must Have

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Fabric Data Factory — pipelines, Copy Activity, scheduling, parameterization and monitoring
• OneLake, Lakehouse and Fabric Warehouse
• SQL — advanced querying, transformations and performance tuning
• Python / PySpark and Fabric Notebooks
• Delta Lake and medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
• Data warehousing and dimensional modeling
• Experience integrating on-premises and cloud-based data sources and target systems
• Strong ODBC/JDBC connectivity experience
• Ability to configure and troubleshoot drivers, connections and authentication
• Experience with On-premises Data Gateway and secure hybrid connectivity
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA or similar relational platforms
