Summary
The Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer will lead the design and development of a scalable, cloud-native data platform on Microsoft Azure, focusing on integrating data from various enterprise systems to create an intelligent data ecosystem.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated data integration pipelines for enterprise systems.
- Develop data models for multiple business domains.
- Ensure data governance and optimize pipeline performance.
- Prepare datasets for BI and AI/ML models.
- Produce technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer.
Key Requirements
- 7+ years experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric (MS Fabric).
- Strong skills in Python and SQL.
- Experience with Azure Functions and Apache Kafka.
- Expertise with Docker Containers and data modeling.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with SAP BW, SAP HANA, and Salesforce data integration.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and GitHub workflows.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
