About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tier 2 Support Specialist to join our IT Business Systems team. In this role, you will provide technical and functional support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM). You will serve as the escalation point for Tier 1 support, investigating complex system issues, managing service requests, and working closely with business users, developers, and functional analysts to ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Tier 2 escalation for D365 F&SCM support issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical problems within Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Production, and Supply Chain modules.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand issues, replicate errors, and document findings.
  • Coordinate with internal IT and external partners (Microsoft, VARs, or consultants) for issue resolution or escalations (Tier 3).
  • Monitor system integrations, data interfaces, and batch jobs, addressing failures or discrepancies.
  • Contribute to knowledge base documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Participate in system upgrades, regression testing, and business process improvements.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend proactive solutions or automation opportunities.

QualificationsRequired:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting or implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong understanding of core functional areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Procurement, Inventory, and Production.
  • Experience troubleshooting integrations (e.g., Power Platform, Data Management Framework, APIs).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tickets and work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

Preferred:

Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, or Dataverse.

Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation or query execution.

Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain-focused organization.
