About the job

We are seeking an experienced and results-drivenMicrosoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Architectto lead functional design and solution delivery for our enterprise ERP transformation initiatives. With10 to 15 yearsof hands-on ERP experience-including a proven track record as a Functional Architect across3 to 5 full lifecycle D365 F&O implementations-you will be instrumental in translating complex business processes into scalable, high-performing functional solutions.

Based on-site inBatu Gajah, Perak, Malaysia, you will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and functional teams. You will drive system configurations, solution recommendations, and functional governance across core modules, includingFinance, Production, Sales & Purchase (Procurement), and Warehouse Management (WMS). In this role, you will oversee end-to-end testing phases (SIT and UAT), ensure complete functional documentation, and guide projects to successful delivery across Agile and Waterfall environments.

D365 Functional Expertise

• Work hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O modules (e.g., Finance, WMS, Sales, Production, Procurement etc).
• Gather and translate business requirements into functional solutions.
• Provide functional design and validate system configurations.
• Hands on experience in Dynamics 365 F&O Functional processes
• Responsible for Configurations, Solution recommendations
• Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and Functional teams.

Stakeholder Management

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements and expectations.
• Provide strategic guidance and solution recommendations.
• Ensure clear communication between all parties throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage client/vendor relationships effectively.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and business needs.
• Oversee testing phases (UAT, SIT) and support defect resolution.
• Ensure documentation (functional specs, process flows, SOPs) is complete and accurate.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10-15 years of overall experience, with:
  • Hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 functional modules
  • Worked as Functional Architect for atleast 3 to 5 Microsoft D365 F&O Implementations
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end D365 implementations or transformations
• Deep understanding of below D365 modules:
  • Finance
  • Production
  • Sales and Purchase
  • WMS
• Strong knowledge of business processes and ERP systems
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
