Role Summary
We are looking for Microsoft Security Operations Consultants with solid hands-on experience in Microsoft Purview DLP Information Protection Governance Purview and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint MDE
The role is administration focused requiring strong administration configuration policies creation and tuning skills along with policies rules testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft Purview DLP IPG Operations Administration
- Administer and support Microsoft Purview DLP policies across
- Endpoint
- Exchange Online
- SharePoint Online
- OneDrive
- Microsoft Teams
- Manage and tune
- Sensitivity labels
- Auto labeling policies
- Information Protection policies
- Tune policies to reduce false positives while ensuring data protection
- Create and maintain SOPs runbooks and operational documentation
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint MDE SOC Operations
- Administer and operate Microsoft Defender for Endpoint across Windows macOS and servers
- Tune detections to reduce noise and improve quality
- Implement and manage
- Attack Surface Reduction ASR rules
- Endpoint hardening and device control policies
- Integrate MDE s with SIEMSOAR platforms Microsoft Sentinel preferred
Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on administration experience with
- Microsoft Purview DLP Information Protection
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint MDE
- Solid understanding of Endpoint security malware and infostealers
- Data protection classification and governance
- Working knowledge of SOAR integrations and playbooks
Soft Skills:
- Strong operational mindset and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work from office in shifts 24x7
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a consultant role
- Experience working in enterprise SOC environments
