Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure solutions, including virtual machines, virtual networks, storage, and Azure Active Directory.
Administer Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and management groups.
Ensure optimal scalability and availability of Azure resources through proper design and management.
Configure and manage Azure load balancing, virtual networking, and network security groups.
Deployment and Automation:
Deploy, manage, and monitor Azure resources using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell scripts, and Azure CLI.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Azure DevOps or Terraform.
Automate routine tasks and workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and manage Azure security features, including network security groups (NSG), firewalls, Azure Security Center, and role-based access control (RBAC).
Ensure data security through encryption, access management, and compliance with industry standards.
Monitor and configure Azure Key Vault for securing and managing sensitive data like API keys and passwords.
Monitoring and Performance Management:
Monitor and troubleshoot Azure environments using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Ensure optimal performance of Azure resources by analyzing and implementing resource scaling strategies.
Set up alerts and metrics to proactively detect and resolve issues before they impact the business.
Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery:
Implement and manage Azure Backup for critical systems and databases.
Develop and manage disaster recovery strategies using Azure Site Recovery (ASR) to minimize downtime.
Perform regular backup tests and disaster recovery drills to ensure business continuity.
Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide technical support for Azure infrastructure-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure problems related to network, storage, or compute resources.
Assist with incident management, change management, and problem resolution for Azure-related issues.
Collaboration and Documentation:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, security teams, and network engineers, to implement Azure-based solutions that meet business requirements.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on Azure infrastructure, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and operational procedures.
Provide knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders regarding Azure best practices and cloud adoption strategies.
Cost Management and Optimization:
Implement cost management practices to optimize Azure spending by utilizing tools like Azure Cost Management.
Monitor and report on resource usage and identify opportunities for cost reduction by analyzing and optimizing Azure services.
Suggest and implement cost-effective solutions while maintaining high availability and scalability.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Azure services and cloud technologies.
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to ensure your knowledge of Azure cloud services remains current.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and operational processes.
