Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced Java Microservices Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure enterprise applications. This role requires a deep understanding of modern microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and API integrations, supporting continuous delivery and operational resilience. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into reliable solutions that support enterprise growth and innovation.
Software Requirements
Required Software Proficiency:
- Java (latest LTS version, e.g., Java 11 or 17) — extensive hands-on experience supporting enterprise microservices development
- Spring Boot (latest version) — strong expertise in building scalable microservices solutions supporting business workflows
- RESTful APIs & GraphQL — experience designing and integrating APIs supporting distributed systems
- Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL — supporting data persistence, retrieval, and validation for microservices support
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP — supporting deployment, scaling, and cloud-native development (preferred)
- Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (2+ years) — supporting scalable deployment of microservices supported by cloud environments
- Version Control: Git, GitHub — managing code, branches, and collaboration in development pipelines
Preferred Software Skills:
- Cloud-native tools supporting deployment automation (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform support)
- API Gateway and service mesh support supporting integrated cloud services
- Support for monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
Overall Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable microservices supporting enterprise applications and APIs
- Collaborate with product, business, and platform teams to define and implement technical solutions supporting operational and growth objectives
- Architect and optimize microservices for performance, reliability, and security, following best practices
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices supporting maintainability and scalability
- Support cloud deployments with automation, containerization, and orchestration tools supporting DevOps principles
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource utilization supporting high-availability environments
- Support system upgrades, patching, and migration activities to support enterprise resilience and compliance
- Maintain detailed documentation supporting architecture, deployment, security policies, and operational procedures

- Strong background supporting CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure automation
- Experience working within agile teams and managing collaboration across development, operations, and security teams
- Experience supporting regulated industries such as finance or healthcare supporting compliance and data security standards (preferred)
Day-to-Day Activities
- Design, develop, and optimize microservices architectures supporting enterprise systems and APIs
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and platform teams for feature delivery and system support
- Manage cloud deployments, containers, and orchestration platforms supporting high availability
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance, security, and operational issues proactively
- Support infrastructure automation, deployment pipelines, and system upgrades supporting enterprise resilience
- Monitor system health, perform capacity planning, and optimize resource utilization
- Document system architecture, processes, and operational procedures supporting compliance and operational excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 8-12 years supporting enterprise microservices, cloud-native deployments, and automation in high-availability environments
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect are preferred
- Proven success supporting secure, scalable, and compliant enterprise systems supporting high transaction volumes and operational resilience
