Key Responsibilities:
Microbiological Testing & Analysis
- Conduct routine microbiological tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Identify, isolate, and analyze microorganisms in compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation of test results.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), GMP, and other regulatory standards.
- Participate in internal audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support validation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Hygiene & Contamination Control
- Monitor environmental and personnel hygiene in production and laboratory areas.
- Implement contamination control measures and corrective actions when necessary.
- Conduct microbial risk assessments to support product safety and quality.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare test reports, analysis summaries, and regulatory documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs of laboratory activities and materials.
- Communicate findings to QA team and provide recommendations for process improvements.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with production, QA, and R&D teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
- Assist in training staff on microbiological testing and hygiene practices.
- Support the development and implementation of QA policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related field.
- 15 years of experience in microbiology testing, laboratory work, or quality assurance.
- Knowledge of microbiological techniques, GMP, GLP, and quality standards.
- Strong analytical, observational, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment and microbiological software.
