Microbiologist

• Prepare microbiology media for laboratory testing
• Maintain and calibrate lab instruments including balance, autoclave, water bath, LAF, BSC, microscope, etc.
• Perform microbiological testing as per standard procedures
• Collect, analyse, and interpret data to recommend actions
• Apply methodologies to overcome technical issues and drive continuous improvement
• Maintain laboratory quality assurance systems for data validity
• Keep accurate and updated lab records
• Support microbiological sampling and testing programs
• Follow lab safety guidelines for handling and disposing biological materials in compliance with environmental regulations

Qualifications:

• 23 years of experience in a food testing laboratory
• Strong knowledge of food microbiology analysis
