Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network & IT Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and enhance the organizations network and IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network systems, IP telephony, audio-video conferencing solutions, CCTV, and biometric systems while ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network Infrastructure Management :
  • Design, implement, and maintain Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Perform regular network maintenance, upgrades, and patch management.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Network Design & Documentation :
  • Create and maintain detailed network diagrams and infrastructure documentation.
  • Plan and design passive network cabling (structured cabling systems).
  • Maintain records of network configurations, IP addressing schemes, and topology.
  • IP Telephony & Communication Systems :
  • Implement, configure, and troubleshoot IPBX systems.
  • Manage VoIP configurations, extensions, and call routing.
  • Ensure smooth functioning of Audio & Video Conferencing systems.
  • Provide technical support for conference room setup and virtual meeting infrastructure.
  • Surveillance & Access Control Systems :
  • Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems.
  • Implement and support Biometric access control devices.
  • Ensure system uptime and troubleshoot related technical issues.
  • IT Support & Troubleshooting :
  • Provide technical support to end users for network and infrastructure-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and configuration problems.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware/software procurement and support.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
  • Security & Compliance :
  • Implement network security measures including firewalls, VLANs, and access controls.
  • Monitor systems for security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure data protection and system backups are properly Qualifications :
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field.
  • 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in network administration and IT infrastructure management.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.
  • Experience working with IPBX, CCTV, Biometric, and AV conferencing systems.
  • Ability to create network diagrams using tools such as Visio or similar software.

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with firewall configuration and network security practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
