Job Description
As part of the Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) Governance & Controls (G&C) Reporting team, this role will play a critical leadership position in strengthening operational risk visibility, reporting governance, and control effectiveness across the organization.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk & Controls Reporting Leader to drive strategic reporting, analytics, and automation initiatives across the ETS Business Unit. This role is responsible for embedding robust control management practices into day-to-day operations while enabling data-driven decision-making through insightful risk reporting and scalable reporting solutions.
The successful candidate will collaborate extensively with partners across all lines of defense, business units, functional areas, and global geographies to enhance risk transparency, streamline reporting processes, and support proactive risk management.
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-wide reporting and automation initiatives to enhance and streamline control management processes across ETS.
- Develop and deliver thematic risk reporting and analytics, including risk trends, root cause analysis, and emerging risk insights to support informed business decisions.
- Partner with business units to identify operational risks and recommend process improvements and control enhancements.
- Support the execution and maturity of operational risk management practices across the organization.
- Review and analyze risk dashboards, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), and control metrics to provide meaningful insights and ongoing risk monitoring.
- Collaborate with Governance & Controls leaders and Risk & Control Pillar leaders to design and implement standardized reporting frameworks and scalable reporting solutions.
- Drive reporting governance by managing milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and cross-functional coordination for large-scale risk and control initiatives.
- Foster a strong culture of risk awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams and stakeholder groups.
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader by sharing best practices, industry trends, and emerging risk themes across the enterprise.
- Promote automation and data-driven efficiencies through modern reporting and visualization capabilities.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Technology Risk, Internal Audit, Risk & Controls Assessment, or related disciplines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, assess risk scenarios, and deliver actionable insights.
- 4–5+ years of hands-on experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority and effectively engage senior leaders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced and evolving environments while maintaining high-quality execution.
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Excellent listening, synthesis, and critical-thinking skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong project management capabilities with experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and driving execution through completion.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information and risk-related matters.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, adapt quickly to change, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or related field required; advanced degrees (MBA, MCA, etc.) and relevant certifications are preferred.
