As a Manager, Software Engineering,you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world's payments ecosystem!
This purpose of theManager, Software Engineeringrole is:
Manages the activities of one or more software systems development function or software applications
development function. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the
function.
A typical day at ACI for a Manager, Software Engineeringis:
Manages and directs ACI's development resources in accordance with corporate and division goals and objectives. Instructs and guides staff to maximize their technical, managerial, and corporate growth and development.
Provides feedback and completes performance appraisals.
Develops annual staff salary, training plans, and reports on the status of the staff and projects.
Works with senior management to set the technical direction for company products and services.
Leads and guides the development and maintenance products and services ensuring that they align with the company's strategic and business plans.
Manages product security including product risk reduction, compliance, product security training, product security software development lifecycle, and security architecture.
Leads interaction with internal and external organizations and individuals to ensure appropriate information exchange, with the goal of properly developing the staff and successfully completing assigned projects.
Perform other duties as assigned
Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
5 years software development and/or design experience.
Management or leadership experience
Ability to participate in management escalation of on-call rotation (out of hours support required).
