Job Description

Job Responsibility

1.Group Management:

a.Establish Systems and Processes: Develop and implement systems and processes aligned with long-term departmental goals, ensuring continuous improvement.

b.Project Planning and Management: Oversee project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

c.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with domestic and export regulations for vehicle electricals and safety, staying updated with regulatory changes and implementing necessary adjustments.

2.Homologation Testing Management:

a.Leadership in Model Development: Lead and mentor group members in vehicle model development, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and audit compliance.

b.Validation of Test Checklists: Develop and validate test checklists based on regulatory requirements and internal standards, ensuring accurate and consistent testing.

c. Test Result Analysis and Coordination: Analyze test results, coordinate with stakeholders to identify improvement areas, conduct root cause analysis, and implement countermeasures for continuous improvement.

Technical Competency

1.Expertise in Homologation Testing: Safety & Performance:

a.Passive Safety Testing: IS 15986, AIS 184/185/188/191, IS 11948, IS 3028, AIS-98/99/100, AIS 133, AIS-151/152/153.

b.Performance Testing: AIS 038/039/040/041, AIS 102, AIS 004, AIS 008, IS 15796, IS 15804, IS 11827.

2.Comprehensive Test Procedure Knowledge: Proficient in preparing worst-case criteria (WCC) and conducting extensive hands-on tests, including pre-checks, instrumentation, vehicle preparation, validations, analysis, and reporting.

3.Audit and Compliance: Experienced in conducting audits, analyzing test failures, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory norms.

4.Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including test agencies and senior management.

5.Soft Skills: Exhibits a positive attitude, leadership, enthusiasm for learning, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.

6.Microsoft Office Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications.

Educational Qualification

B.E or B. Tech in Electrical / Mechanical /Automotive

Work Experience (Year)

9-12 years in Homologation Testing - Vehicle Electricals, Safety & Performance
