Educational Qualifications:
Postgraduate Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Mass Communication
Preferred Institutes: MICA, NMIMS, SIMC (Symbiosis), IIMC, MCRC Jamia, or equivalent
Experience:
- 1013 years of progressive experience in Corporate Communications
- Proven expertise in content development (e.g., press releases, executive speeches)
- Strong track record in media relations with established journalist networks
- Experience in a corporate environment with exposure to both external and internal communications is an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Public Relations & Media Strategy
- Plan and execute proactive PR strategies to build and maintain a positive image of the company
- Drive effective media outreach programs, including test drives, field visits, and executive interviews
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key journalists and media outlets
- Facilitate spokesperson engagements, press meets, and media interactions
Content Development
- Draft high-quality content including press releases, articles, blogs, whitepapers, speeches, FAQs, internal newsletters, and management presentations
- Contribute regularly to the employee magazine and communication platforms
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop engaging digital content such as reels, short videos, and infographics
Agency Management
- Manage and coordinate with PR and creative agencies to ensure delivery of campaigns, messaging, and media materials
- Review and approve agency-created content in alignment with brand voice and strategy
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track industry developments and company media presence
- Prepare media coverage reports and executive review documents
- Analyze trends to inform future communication strategies
