Brain and AI Research Group (BAIRG) is looking for an experienced and research-oriented professional to join our academic team as a Research Mentor for advanced research training programs focused on Meta-Analysis, Systematic Reviews, and Scientific Writing in the domains of psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, and allied behavioral sciences.
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong publication record, hands-on experience conducting meta-analyses, and the ability to mentor students and early-career researchers through rigorous academic workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Mentor students in conducting Meta-Analyses
- Systematic Reviews & PRISMA workflows
- Data Extraction & Coding
- Effect Size Calculations
- Statistical Interpretation
- Manuscript Development & Publication Preparation
- Assist in research methodology, hypothesis framing, and publication strategy
- Provide structured academic feedback during research meetings and manuscript reviews
- Support students in maintaining ethical and publication-quality research standards
QUALIFICATIONS & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Prior published research papers in: Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Neuropsychology, Behavioral Sciences Or closely related domains
- Demonstrated experience conducting and/or publishing: Meta-Analyses, Systematic Reviews with strong understanding of: PRISMA Guidelines, Research Methodology, Academic Writing Standards, Statistical Interpretation
- Ability to mentor students in an online academic environment
PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree, M.Phil., PhD, or equivalent research experience in a relevant discipline
- Familiarity with tools/software such as:
- JASP, SPSS, R,Zotero / Mendeley
- Prior teaching, supervision, or mentoring experience is highly preferred
