Job DescriptionQualifications
- Software Implementation & Integration
- Lead end-to-end implementation of ERP, MES, CMMS, Quality, and Inventory systems
- Translate manufacturing workflows into software configurations
- Integrate machines, weighbridges, scanners, and PLC data with software platforms
- Ensure seamless data flow between production, stores, QC, finance, and dispatch
- Manufacturing Process Digitization
- Map current processes (as-is) and design optimized digital workflows (to-be)
- Digitize:
- Production reporting
- Scrap and yield tracking
- Furnace / machine logs
- Maintenance schedules
- Quality checks and traceability
- Eliminate manual registers and Excel-based reporting
- Data & Analytics
- Design dashboards for:
- OEE
- Yield & recovery
- Energy consumption
- Downtime and root causes
- Cost per kg / unit
- Work with management to define KPIs and MIS structure
- Vendor & Project Management
- Coordinate with ERP vendors, system integrators, and automation partners
- Own timelines, testing, UAT, and go-live activities
- Control implementation costs and scope creep
- Change Management & Training
- Train shop-floor supervisors, engineers, and managers
- Drive adoption across departments
- Act as bridge between operators and software teams
- ITOT Coordination
- Work with IT for:
- Network, servers, cloud, backups, cybersecurity
- Work with OT teams for:
- PLC data access
- Machine connectivity
- Sensor integrations
Must-Have
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations
- Experience implementing ERP or MES in a factory
- Ability to read and understand production, QC, and maintenance workflows
- SQL / Excel / dashboarding skills
- Vendor and project management capability
Good to Have
- Experience in metals, casting, machining, process industries
- Exposure to PLC / SCADA / IoT
- Python, Power BI, or low-code tools
- Lean / Six Sigma or industrial engineering background
