As a MES Analyst at Koch, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining Manufacturing Execution System (MES) applications that power our digital manufacturing environment. You will be part of an international team focused on designing, developing, and delivering innovative manufacturing applications that drive operational excellence globally. Your work will ensure seamless application performance, enabling our manufacturing teams to meet business objectives and enhance user experience.
Our Team
You will join the Digital Manufacturing team at Georgia-Pacific LLC, a division of Koch Industries. Our team collaborates internationally to support and innovate manufacturing solutions that span multiple plants and business units. We are committed to delivering high-quality technology and operational support that fuels manufacturing success.
What You Will Do
- Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 production support for Manufacturing and MES applications to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations
- Collaborate with the Manufacturing Support Lead, Delivery Manager, developers, and other team members to quickly resolve production issues across multiple plants
- Support applications during hyper-care phases and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain documentation, and train team members to build collective knowledge and enhance team capabilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes and application data to identify and implement system improvements
- Participate in 24x7 support rotations, working shifts as per roster to maintain business continuity
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- 2 to 5 years of experience working with MES tools and familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems
- 2 to 5 years of experience in SQL Server querying and database management
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and domain knowledge relevant to digital manufacturing
- Quick learner with a readiness to adopt new tools and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of ITIL processes and production support methodologies
What Will Put You Ahead
- Prior experience specifically in manufacturing support roles for MES tools
- Good knowledge with Ignition (Inductive Automation) for MES/SCADA support or configuration
- A proactive can do attitude with a willingness to challenge and improve existing processes respectfully
- Humble competence: ownership of your work with accountability for successes and areas for growth
