Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience and exposure to AI-assisted development tools. The ideal candidate should be proficient in building scalable web applications using the MERN stack and leveraging modern AI tools to enhance development efficiency, code quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Build responsive and high-performance user interfaces using React.js
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable backend services using Node.js & Express
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA
- Utilize AI-based coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude CodeWhisperer) to improve development speed and efficiency
- Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing applications
- Follow best practices in code quality, testing, and security
Required Skills & Qualifications- 2–3 years of professional experience in full-stack development using MERN stack
- Strong proficiency in:
- JavaScript (ES6+)
- React.js, Redux (or Context API)
- Node.js, Express.js
- MongoDB (Mongoose preferred)
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools for:
- Code generation
- Debugging
- Documentation
- Understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth) and web security practices
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
