We are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer proficient in the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack to join our development team. As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable web applications and APIs, from frontend to backend. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, and iterate quickly based on user feedback. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern web development practices and a passion for creating high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
- Design and implement user interfaces using React.js.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.
- Design and implement APIs using Express.js and Node.js.
- Develop backend services and integrations with third-party APIs.
- Ensure responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with the product team to define and implement new features.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Contribute to the overall architecture of the application.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Experience with React.js and its core principles.
- Familiarity with server-side languages like Node.js and Express.js.
- Experience with database technologies like MongoDB.
- Knowledge of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and their integration with frontend interfaces.
- Good understanding of version control (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects on GitHub.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, Chai).
