Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment.
- Implement robust RESTful APIs to connect to front-end components.
- Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in application code.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Contribute to the maintenance of code documentation.
- Support project management by following Agile practices.
- Assist in database design and optimization.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and its modern frameworks.
- Experience with the MERN stack.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with MongoDB and database management.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience with unit testing and debugging tools.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Material-UI is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure) is desirable.
- Prior experience as a full-stack developer is an advantage.
- Portfolio of previous projects showcasing relevant skills is a plus.
