Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

This job is based out of the Head Office of L&T at Andheri East, Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities:

Recruited Analyst would be closely involved in the live M&A and Divestments projects for Larsen & Toubro.

The analyst would need to support the senior members of the team with the following skillsets:

• Identifying potential target companies for M&A / Divestments based on in-depth research and analysis through various channels such as primary research, secondary research, networking, corporate events, database search, etc
• Examining historical Financial Statements / Annual Reports to summarize key trends and financial positions, margins, ratios etc. of transaction entities
• Research on L&T Group entities and preparation of data-book on competition analysis
• Creating detailed Financial Models
• Assessing the targets for Valuations via various established industry methods like DCF, Trading, and Transaction Comps
• Create error - free Teasers / Pitch books / Presentations/ Board Presentations
• Tracking key developments / trends regarding Start-ups / Tech. / Digital
• Review broker research reports with an analytical mindset
• Handling the data-room whenever required
• Use Bloomberg terminal and other M&A databases
• Coordination with stakeholders
