Merchant Banker - Deputy Manager - Mumbai

PNB Investment Services Limited (PNBISL), incorporated on 2nd of February 2009, is a 100% subsidiary of Punjab National Bank. PNBISL is registered with SEBI as a Category-I Merchant Banker to handle all major Merchant Banking Services to Corporate, Institutional and Individual clients. Position: Deputy Manager - Merchant Banker

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: MBA / CA / CS / LLB

Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Merchant Banking / Investment Banking

About the Role

As a Merchant Banker, you will be at the forefront of executing capital market transactions, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and managing high-quality deliverables for clients. This role demands strong knowledge of SEBI regulations, corporate laws, and a proven ability to manage end-to-end project execution in investment banking.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct due diligence for capital market transactions.
• Handle drafting, compliance, disclosure, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure proper record keeping in line with SEBI and regulatory norms.
• Interact and coordinate with clients for smooth project execution.
• Perform quality checks and ensure accuracy of all client deliverables.
• Prepare pitch books, company profiles, and investment memorandums.
• Stay updated with guidelines/regulations under SEBI, Companies Act, FEMA, Income Tax Act, etc.
• Collaborate with internal teams for execution of Capital Markets transactions (IPOs, FPOs, Rights Issues, etc.).

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years experience in Merchant Banking or Investment Banking.
• Strong knowledge of SEBI guidelines, Companies Act, FEMA, Income Tax regulations.
• Experience in capital markets transactions and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-handling skills.
• Self-driven, dynamic, and result-oriented professional with ability to think out-of-the-box.
