Merchandiser

Very Much Indian, a Shark Tank–funded brand reviving heritage sarees for the new generation — with Paithani sarees as our signature offering — is looking for a Social Media Manager to lead our digital storytelling. Backed by the craftsmanship of 4,000+ weavers across 8 states, we bring authentic handloom silk and cotton sarees to modern India.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage product planning and merchandising across collections
• Coordinate with design, production, inventory, and operations teams
• Track product development, sampling, and production timelines
• Maintain product details, SKU data, and inventory coordination
• Analyse sales trends and customer preferences to guide product planning
• Support assortment planning, pricing, and product launches
• Liaise with weavers, vendors, and internal teams for timely execution
• Monitor stock levels and flag fast- and slow-moving products

What We're Looking For

• 2-4 years in merchandising, preferably in fashion, apparel, or textiles
• Strong understanding of fabrics, products, and fashion trends
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Sharp attention to detail and strong follow-up
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
