Job Title Merchandiser

Location: MUMBAI Kandivali ( Alternate Saturday off)

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the merchandise requirements are met at all stores by forecasting the requirements by analysing the sales data and planning for inventory accordingly.

Job Description

Prepare appropriate idealinventory levels for existing branches as per business plan at beginning of the year. Also plan for inventory of upcoming new showrooms during the year.

Ensure that the ideal inventory levels across all branches are met throughout the year.

Capturing requirements of stores by analysing data of actual sales, sales forecasts, company order parameters, inventory checks, forth coming events, replenishment needs etc. and provide inputs to category plans.

Assist Inventory & Category Manager in creation of assortment plans for diamond category and assist in the overall planning process customised for each store based on insights gained from customer preference and historical trends.

Seek regular feedback from stores regarding replenishment, unavailability or any other queries related to merchandise.

Providing inputs and ideas to maximise diamond sales by analysing the existing portfolio of products and understand category strength areas, assess the market opportunities and study the competition.

Ensure support in implementation of the strategy for product buying, merchandising and new product development for the category, customised for each store, separately.

Maximize Inventory Turnover Ratio for each store by Monitoring the robust shuffling of the products by analysing the store ageing Ensuring right product mix availability/ placement and shuffling

Keeping track of competitor's activities, competitors stocks and new trends in the market. Conduct market study and gather information on margins prevailing in the market, possible price points, etc.

Coordinate with product development and design team for making jewellery as per market trends.

Conducting weekly review of logistics management to ensure replenishment of sold products.
