  • Lead global sourcing strategy & build strong supplier partnerships.
  • End-to-end product development, factory management, & cost negotiation.

Job Description

  • Drive sourcing strategy by building and strengthening a robust vendor base.
  • Collaborate with merchants to develop product options aligned with business needs.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, factories, and mills to ensure consistent supply and innovation.
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, lead time, and order quantities to optimise cost and efficiency.
  • Oversee product development and production processes to meet quality and brand standards.
  • Identify new product opportunities and sourcing trends while mitigating risks.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and internal teams, resolving production and compliance issues.
  • Track KPIs, vendor scorecards, and overall sourcing performance to drive continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience: 8+ years in sourcing, merchandising, or factory/vendor management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of product development, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Skills:
    • Negotiation and cost engineering
    • Supplier relationship management
    • Knowledge of sourcing landscape and industry trends
  • Tools/Software: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and digital communication tools.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Experience working directly with factories (overseas exposure preferred)
    • Strong attention to detail and quality judgement
    • Category experience (Home/Apparel/related segments)
    • Willingness to travel internationally
