Nissan Syntex Pvt. Ltd. has 40 years of expertise in the textile industry. The company has 2 manufacturing facilities with over 350 machines and caters to established retailers in the domestic and export markets. Our primary product is Denim Jeans.
We are hiring a skilled Denim Jeans Merchandiser to manage end-to-end order execution from sampling and buyer coordination to production follow-up and shipment. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle buyer orders end-to-end: sampling, production, and shipment.
- Maintain T&A calendars and follow up on all critical milestones.
- Coordinate with buyers for approvals, corrections, and updates.
- Source and approve fabrics, trims, and accessories with the supply team.
- Review tech packs, BOM, fits, washes, and finishing details.
- Manage proto, fit, size set, and PP sample development and approvals.
- Liaise with washing units for correct wash standards (enzyme, stone, acid, etc.).
- Monitor factory production and coordinate with QA for inspections.
- Prepare costing sheets, negotiate with vendors, and track style margins.
- Maintain style, sample, and shipment trackers and all buyer documentation.
Requirements
- 4 years of experience in garment merchandising, preferably in denim jeans.
- Graduate/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Textile Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of denim fabrics, washes, and garment construction.
- Experience reading and executing tech packs and bottoms specifications.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word; basic ERP/tracking tools.
- Excellent written and spoken English for buyer communication.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines with attention to detail.
