We are looking for a proactive and responsible Merchandiser who can take complete ownership of orders from development through production and shipment. The ideal candidate should be highly organised, detail-oriented, solution-driven, and capable of independently coordinating with buyers, suppliers, production teams, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned buyer accounts and orders, from product development and sampling through production and final shipment.
- Communicate proactively with buyers, ensuring timely updates, clear follow-ups, and prompt resolution of queries.
- Track all critical timelines, including sampling, approvals, raw materials, production milestones, inspections, and shipment dates.
- Identify potential delays, quality concerns, or execution risks in advance and take timely corrective action.
- Coordinate closely with production, sampling, sourcing, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order execution.
- Follow up rigorously on pending approvals, materials, samples, and production issues without waiting for reminders.
- Maintain accurate order records, Time & Action calendars, costing information, approvals, and production status.
- Review buyer requirements carefully and ensure all specifications, quality standards, packaging instructions, and delivery commitments are correctly communicated and followed.
- Provide management with clear and accurate status updates, highlighting risks along with proposed solutions.
- Demonstrate strong ownership: problems should be followed through to closure rather than simply escalated or passed on.
- Support junior team members where required and contribute to improving merchandising processes and systems.
What We Are Looking For
- 3–6 years of merchandising experience, preferably in leather goods, bags, accessories, garments, footwear, or export manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of product development, sampling, production processes, costing, and export order execution.
- Excellent follow-up and coordination skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and the ability to maintain accurate trackers and reports.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities independently.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
