Role Description

This is a full-time, Mumbai-based on-site role for a Merchandiser. This is the a Merchandiser in Goldstar Elite.

The Merchandiser will oversee product assortments and ensure that displays meet company and customer standards.

Primary responsibilities include analyzing trends, liaising with clients and internal teams to meet customer expectations, ensuring the sample line is created keeping in mind product allocation and pricing, and contributing to sales strategies.

The role also involves maintaining effective communication with internal and external teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.

Qualifications

  • Expertise anticipating product needs through analysis and market trends/research
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Produce layout plans for production and maintain appropriate inventory.
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to collaborate with internal teams and clients effectively
  • Sales understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior
  • Knowledge of Marketing concepts and the ability to contribute to promotional strategies and campaigns
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inventory or merchandising software is a plus
  • Experience in the jewellery or luxury goods industry is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field
