Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager- Quality & Technical to join our Merchandise team. This is a critical role focused on quality governance and innovation, requiring the incumbent to define comprehensive quality manuals, manage fits and sizing, and bring material innovation to the sourcing team.

What You Will Do:

  • Quality Manual Development: Develop, document, and continuously update the brand's Quality Manual, including Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL), testing protocols, and packaging standards for all merchandise categories.
  • Vendor and QA Governance: Conduct regular on-site evaluations at vendor facilities and engage with the QA agency to assess compliance. This includes evaluating and approving fabrics, trims, and hard-line materials to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and chemical regulations.
  • Technical Design & Fit Management: Build size gradation principles and guarantee the correct execution of fits across product types.
  • Material Innovation: Collaborate with production factories to introduce innovative materials that offer a competitive advantage while meeting brand Quality standards.
  • Defect Resolution: Lead root cause analysis for quality failures, customer complaints, and high return rates. Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues

Experience & Education:

6–9 years of experience in fashion quality assurance and technical design, with a significant background in factory audits and vendor relationship management.

B. Tech. in Textile Engineering, Fashion Technology, or Quality Management.

Technical Expertise:

  • Expertise in garment construction, pattern making, size grading, and material testing protocols.
  • Thorough knowledge of global AQL standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills.

Behavioral Skills:

Strong stakeholder management and excellent verbal and visual communication skills
