Merchandise Designer

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Merchandise Designer located in Mumbai. The Merchandise Designer will be responsible for creating, conceptualizing, and developing original merchandise designs that align with Sagar World's ethos of blending tradition with modern innovation. The candidate will collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to bring Indian culture and mythology-inspired concepts to life through products like clothing, home dcor, accessories, and collectibles. Additional responsibilities include researching trends, preparing design mockups, ensuring high-quality production, and adhering to brand guidelines throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Strong design skills, including graphic design, product design, and illustration
• Experience in using design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant software
• Knowledge of Indian culture, mythology, spiritual themes, and the ability to incorporate these elements creatively into designs
• Experience in trend research and product conceptualization
• Detail-oriented with expertise in creating high-quality, market-ready designs
• Experience in merchandising, retail, or related industries is a plus
