About the Role

Jewels by Samurai is looking for an experienced and technically competent MEP Engineer to oversee Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works for premium high-rise residential apartment projects. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, quality control, contractor coordination, safety compliance and timely completion of all MEP installations as per approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and monitor all MEP activities at the project site, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

* Coordinate electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-fighting, ventilation and other relevant building services.

* Ensure proper execution of MEP installations across residential towers, basements, common areas and utility rooms.

* Review MEP drawings, shop drawings and coordinated layouts; identify and resolve site-level technical discrepancies.

* Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural and interior teams to avoid service clashes and execution delays.

* Monitor contractors, subcontractors, vendors and site manpower to ensure timely project execution.

* Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and safety requirements.

* Track project progress, material requirements, work schedules and installation milestones.

* Supervise testing, commissioning, snag rectification and handover of MEP systems.

* Maintain site reports, inspection records, measurement sheets and project documentation.

* Ensure proper coordination with consultants, project managers and other stakeholders.

* Support cost control, material planning and prevention of wastage at the site.

Educational Qualification

* Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

* Relevant technical qualifications in MEP services will be an advantage.

Experience & Technical Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in MEP execution for high-rise residential buildings.

* Mandatory experience in premium apartments, luxury residential projects or high-rise construction.

* Strong understanding of electrical systems, plumbing, drainage, HVAC and fire-fighting systems.

* Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications and coordinated layouts.

* Experience in site execution, contractor management, quality control and commissioning.

* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel; familiarity with project planning tools will be an advantage.

* Knowledge of applicable building codes, fire-safety requirements and relevant statutory standards.
