Role Description The MEP Project Engineer will oversee Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for construction projects, ensuring compliance with design, safety, and quality standards. This full-time, on-site role is based in Kochi and involves coordinating with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and vendors to integrate MEP systems with overall project plans. Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings and technical specifications, monitoring installation progress, conducting site inspections, and resolving MEP-related issues. The role also includes planning resources, tracking project schedules and budgets, preparing technical reports, and supporting commissioning and handover activities. The MEP Project Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement of MEP practices and foster effective communication with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and Plumbing design and installation.

• Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Engineering, including HVAC, ventilation, and building services design.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, coordination, and stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline; relevant MEP certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in building construction projects (commercial, industrial, residential) with on-site supervision responsibilities.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, safety regulations, and quality control practices in the construction sector.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings; familiarity with CAD/BIM tools is beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
